Within 30 days, I've had two novels accepted for publication. One by my regular publisher, Robert Hale Ltd., and one by a new publisher called Solstice.
The Hale novel, which will be published under the Black Horse Westerns banner, is entitled A Man Called Breed, and records the difficulty a half-breed Medal of Honor winner must face just because his mother was Cheyenne.
The Solstice novel is entitled The Snake Den, and was prompted when I found out that the youngest inmate ever incarcerated at Yuma Territorial Prison was only 14 years of age. My 14-year-old's struggle to survive covers a year and two or three months of his prison term, which ends with a governor's pardon (something that happened quite often) because he saved the Warden's life.
Look forward to these western tales. I'll let you know when they hit the racks and the e-book sales points.
