The novel, The Killing Trail, was accepted and will be published in June 2010 from Robert Hale Ltd. I'm three chapters into the next one, tentatively entitled Hell Fire in Paradise. I'm also working on a gumshoe crime novel that I've given the tentative name of Rhapsody in Tokyo.
Still no movement on the boat project. Information on that will have to come later.
Granddaughter Ran Suzuki was born March 17 at 12:13. She weighed 2997 gm and was 47cm long (tall?).
She was born cesarian so Eve (mommy) will be in the hospital for a week, then will stay here for as long as it takes for her to get up to speed. Ran's big sister Nanase is staying with Grandpa and Grandma right now. Both are cuties.
I know I should be writing the Resolution memoir, but I don't feel far enough away from the situation yet. I think about it a lot and will come up with the right approach one of these days. The chapters I have written will be grist for the mill when the final time comes.
I survived St. Patrick's Day without turning green.
Hope the economy starts to turn around before long. Here a few good things from the States. Not many, though. All I can do is sit and write and dream of sailing. Hoping the dreams will turn into reality before too long.
